Secondary level specialist on a specialty – "NURSING  CARE" carries out its activities in the following areas of nursing:

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE   OF THE SPECIALIST OF SECONFARY EDUCATIONAL LEVEL  ON A SPECIALTY-

                                                                              "NURSING  CARE"

 

 

  1. Carrying out diagnostic, medical, resuscitation, rehabilitation, preventive, medical and health, sanitary and hygienic, sanitary and improving actions to patients of different age groups in the conditions of a hospital and policlinic;
  2. Implementation of the nursing process stages and documentary evidence in patient care;
  3. Organization and implementation of nursing care in the in-patient department and at home;
  4. Assessment of the situation and identification of primary symptoms in severe and borderline patients and victims. The provision of first aid in emergency situations;
  5. Evaluation of the effectiveness of drugs in a particular patient.  First  aid in case of drug poisoning;
  6. Preparation of the patient for laboratory, functional and instrumental examinations;
  7. Implementation of the main types of physiotherapy procedures, the use of elements of psychotherapy, monitoring the diet prescribed by the doctor. Evaluation of the effectiveness of ongoing activities;
  8. Planning and evaluation of comprehensive prevention programmes for the education and training of individuals, families and populations to maintain and promote health;
  9. Control over compliance with the pharmaceutical procedure for obtaining, storage and use of medicines;
  10. Maintenance of medical records;
  11. Meeting the requirements of infection control, maintaining infectious safety of patients and medical staff;
  12. Carrying out activities related to the protection of the population, patients, victims, medical staff of the disaster medicine service;
  13. Preparation of tools for complex medical manipulations;
  14. Preparation of patients for diagnostic examinations and urgent operations;
  15. Collection, transportation and storage of materials for microbiological examination;
  16. Implementation of nursing interventions;
  17. Disease prevention;
  18. Carrying out diagnostic and medical prescriptions of the doctor;
  19. Comprehensive care for patients.
